Waldfeld III

The village character of Sasbach and its scenic qualities are at the centre of the development of Waldfeld III.
A flexible and robust structure of three clusters enables a wide mix of building types and thus a variety of different housing and living concepts as well as ownership and utilisation models as a lively extension of the community.
The clusters are permeable: they connect the area with the surrounding open spaces and promote neighbourly encounters, while the connection to the northern ring road ensures supra-local networking.

The green Anger, which is bordered by the clusters, connects the clusters and their neighbourhoods, where private and public spaces flow informally into one another.
The open space will be developed on the basis of existing orchards, linking neighbouring open spaces and differentiating outdoor spaces within the neighbourhood. The variety of open space qualities offers many habitat qualities for flora and fauna and connects existing gardens and landscaped areas. Orchards and flowering roofs alternate with shady niches and open meadows. This promotes dynamic self-development, biotope networking and sustainable biodiversity.
