As part of two compact workshops initiated by the state capital of Stuttgart, the development potential of the Wizemann site was examined in the context of the ongoing transformation of the Pragstraße commercial district, in collaboration with the property owners.

Building on a site analysis, insights from the previous concept study ›New Start-up hubs for Stuttgart‹ were incorporated to develop a spatial and land-use plan tailored specifically to the Wizemann site.

Together with the preliminary study commissioned by the property owners, the land-use plan serves as the starting point for the development of two additional urban planning scenarios.

Scenario 1: Wizemann Campus 2.0 builds on the urban planning concepts from the preliminary study commissioned by the owners and adapts them to comply with building codes and the recommendations for the land-use program. This scenario is characterized by a more fragmented yet space-intensive development.

Scenario 2: Manufacturing 4.0 is more closely aligned with the conceptual ideas from the concept study and the recommendations for use. The site is characterized by a coarser granularity and horizontal flexibility.
