Stadt(t)räume
The participatory, interactive exhibition ›Stadt(t)räume‹ took place over a period of 16 weeks in ›Frei:Raum‹, a new meeting place in the emerging Museum Quarter "Museumsquartier Bürk". Through an activating exhibition design and a diverse supporting program, numerous visions for the future of Schwenningen's city center and the museum quarter itself were collected and discussed.
An central goal was to test, document and reflect on the potential future uses of the ›Frei:Raum‹. Based on an interactive dream map, weekly logbook entries and modular inspiration tables, a multifaceted and identity-forming exhibition was created.
The exhibition was accompanied by various formats for encounters and face-to-face exchange. Among others, these included a handicraft workshop on the topic of ›Green in the City‹, a mixed media workshop on the ›Everyday Archive‹ and joint cooking performances that specifically dealt with the Museum Quarter, Schwenningen's city center and its surroundings.
