Living at Gleisbogenpark

Spring fever on the Prag. When strolling through green city axes, from Mitte to Feuerbach, you pass the new concert hall. Immediately afterwards it leads us to the Gleisbogenpark (engl. "rail arch park"), past monumental, industrial cultural monuments, a scenic landscape of topography, water, greenery and centuries-old concrete.

Three typologies, a solitaire, open courtyard houses and a denser, block-like structure appear in the field of vision of the historic railway district. Where the Ufaplast and a large gravel road once greeted travelers on your journey to Stuttgart, an urban structure of sustainable architecture is now being formed with a strong connection to the park.

Exploring the car-free quarter, the living environment proves to be a true catalyst for community. People meet informally, in public spaces as well as on the spacious arcades or the lively roof terraces.

The open spaces of the new neighborhood are made up of a hard and a soft edge.
The child-friendly street, small terraces between the houses and the new large square form the hard, rather stony edge.
A soft, park-like figure connects the green courtyards with each other. In interaction with the urban development, a coherent space is created that is linked to its surroundings and invites you to linger.
